Well, this time I felt better since the last group. First I introduced myself after the teacher introduced me to the group.
They are a very nice group. I am in Intermediate English I with teacher Roberto Carlos, and they are very nice. I started my class with a warm up, "stairs" which is on the lesson plan. I had them in three groups to participate, and it was nice for them. Later, I worked on the book and we talked a little bit about the strikes and the environment. Still in that moment, it was not exactly me Why? I was just leading the activity of the book... I had not given my touch in that moment ._.
Well, after that, I started to explain the good stuff, stative and dynamic verbs!! ☺ In that moment, I felt better because as I explained most of the students were asking me about the topic, and I answered all their questions. I spent most of the class explaining the grammar part until they could understand well the main topic, so I did not do a lot during class besides that. I just had a little problem... well, not exactly a problem. When I am writing on the board and want to erase, I take the eraser and do it, but most of the times (all the time), I do not know where I put the eraser, so I erase with my hand as the good Salvadorean that I am. I was sweating, and I erased a word with my hand. Then, I cleaned my forehead with my hand... I painted it with blue color. I felt as if I was in Avatar movie! ._.
No one told me about it, and I did not realize until I got out of the classroom, and a friend of mine told me that my forehead was blue ._.

jajajajajajaja Chele, don´t u have an eraser???? such a bear!!! well, don´t worry about that....at least you paid one in life!!! as you mention, I don´t feel comfortable when using the book with the Ss, but I know that we must.....it is really nice when we can give our personal touch to the class...I like the way you overcome with the gramar explanation, and don´t feel bad!!! we´re about to finish!!! ResponderEliminarHi my friend , a little bit of amnesia,maybe(I´m kidding dude).I can see that students were motivated because they were asking.That means they wanted to know more about the topic and you helped them with their doubts. It´s good to give them different activities because the book can be used at home, that´s one´s own touch.Perfect except for the eraser...
ResponderEliminarJellow guy, I know it is reaaly cool when students ask students because it means they are paying attention and want to know more about the topic. jjajajaj about the eraser i know when we are in front of the class we get a little bit nervous and we tend to forget things, but you take it easy!! i know sometimes working in the book is boring but we have to!!

And about the eraser, don’t worry it’s understandable that sometimes we tend to get a little bit nervous. Remember that nothing is perfect and sometimes we had to face those kind of situations
